Surprised you didn't get jumped on for making a husky anchor joke. Infringing on one of dalls jokes.

Last time I made one, I about got tarred & feathered, for infringing on someone else's joke.
In my defense, I mistakenly assumed you were a new fukkwit.
But now I know you're a returning fukkwit.
Apology accepted?

That whole area is a cool part of the state. Two of my uncles (on my moms side) used to own close to 400 acres, in the 70's through early 90's near Ridgeway. We used to go visit when I was just a little crapstain. They sold the ranch in the early 90's when prices started climbing, I think they have regrets not keeping it. I've done some houses in the Ridgeway area for a guy I used to sub from. I really like that area.

Silverton is like stepping back in time. There's a few towns down there, just have a older feel to them, like time has not caught up yet.
If I was going to live in the general area, I would choose somewhere near Ridgeway, with its close proximity to Montrose for supplies, and also only a short trip to Ouray and beyond for the trails. Living in Silverton would be cool, but I can only imagine that the cost of living there is high because of how remote it is. Either way, I still love visiting those places and hope to get back sooner than later.

Ever been to Naturita or Nucla? I really like both of those towns.

Both are far enough off the beaten path, not as many people going to them to visit, yet still close enough to needed things in life. Tons of trails to explore on the backside of the uncompahgre national forest. Hwy 141 from Whitewater to Naturita is one of my favoritist roads to drive, the views are killer.
