Ever notice that in a shared shop drip pans are always full? I filled half the jugs in the 1st pic from the various pans and collected the other half from the various corners of the shop to dispose of them. I also realized there might be a winner in the "most popular oil" contest. Anyone who works around diesels should know the brand represented in the 2nd pic.

Picked this up for $5 from the dump. Starts, runs and oils, but it has spit back through the intake thus not running the best at full throttle especially. Likely a leaking reed, will try flip it or gently bent it back so it sits flat

Bingo! That is the #1 diesel oil I see around here with Valvoline Premium Blue being a distant second.
I have never seen that stuff around here or know of any truck shops that stock Chevron or Valvoline. everyone here runs Rotella or Mobil.

I think it depends on the stores. Napa sells Chevron oils. That might also depend on the store. Our local Carquest does not. They sell Rotella and their brand of oil.

Believe me it ain’t the first time it’s crossed my mind! It’s getting stupid these days! The special ultra safe breakers we put in to meet code requirements won’t run our saws without tripping it’s a pita.

I moved to Tennessee from Wake county NC. There we had one of the strictest framing inspections in the country. I got a job with a local guy framing small houses....and was blown away when I found out that there was no framing inspections. That was nearly 40 years ago, and now there are some towns that have incorporated an inspection. Still no inspection on framing in most counties.

When I built my house, the septic system had to be inspected, and the rough in on the electrical. That's it.

We built here in 21, zero inspections required for anything.... imagine that, for the first time in my life I can take a dump without the govt's permission....

Sounds amazing! Here there is an inspection for almost everything. We just redid our roof on our house & we had to pull a permit! For replacing the shingles….
I just rebuilt my back porch, added a roof over it, and of course, shingled it. If someone had of shown up from the county, they would have been from the tax assessor's office. LOL

They just raised our property taxes for the first time in 13 years, and a lot of land owners are pissed off.....of course.
