Well that stinks, is she getting fuel? I’d bleed the fuel system all the way to the injectors. Easy for me to troubleshoot sitting reading my phone while I’m having another cup of coffee!
You’re onto something. Pulled filter Half full of fuel. She is gravity fed. From the bottom oddly. Think the check valve has failed me. She’s gotta have enough fuel to push fuel up to engine compartment. Still not running but gonna fill her up w fuel to give me a lil help

My deutz started behaving badly, turns out the tank vent stopped venting and the fuel line to the filter got sucked flat preventing fuel flow. loosen the filler cap and see if it is better.

Ok. Soooo this thing is gravity fed but the tank is below the pump. Different and strange.

I’m going to assume the check valve failed. Fuel drained back out of filter into tank.

After adding a couple hundred gallon of fuel to tank I was able to get fuel up to engine compartment. (Interesting setup)

Refilled filters bled her up cranked up easy.

I ordered the check valve. Reminds me of goulds water pump setup.

No lift pump just straight check valve to keep fuel up there. I’ll see if it holds through harvest season. If it does I’m not changing it but I will have the parts in glove box of combine

Could not prime machine without tank full. Primer pump couldn’t get the fuel up there

So there’s that

that’s good you got her goin again sounds like that check valve will hold with plenty of fuel
in the tank so hopefully it’ll go on and let you do the rest of the harvesting

Orphan Runner duckling is healthy and keeps growing, we are letting it roam free on the back yard by now.
It tries to join the other ducks but is not yet being accepted.

Don't row crop so had to do a bit of looking. I am assuming you are referring to moisture content, of which 24% is threshold because of freezing problems. Extra time and expense in drying bins?
Yeah just doesn’t wanna get ready. 15.5 is dry. I like to pick 18-20%. According to the calendar it’s go time. According to moisture it’s not. I can dry some at the shop but I can’t dry all of it

Not even close. Weather has been cool. It’ll take forever to get dry enough to pick like this. 5 cent per half a point moisture so at 23 you’re looking at around 80 cents per bushel Kinda hard to justify picking and getting docked that hard

Dad plunged into his corn & it was around 18.5%, he ran about 100 acres of beans that were around 11.3%.

My brother just bought a used Brent 1082 auger this year. It’s in pretty good shape with new tires. Anyone care to guess what these tires sell for ???
