This may sound a little wimpy but I have a Husky 137 that I ported and seem to reach for it all the time if I'm cutting 16" and under. It just has a great sound and a lot of guts for it's size, have 50, 60 and 70cc saws when needed.

that's the one. New bearings and new stuffers and it was ready to go. Who did the cylinder work? It runs like a champ.

Randy @Mastermind cut the base and squish band, and Old Cat off AS did the port work. He did 3 other saws for me, and they all were good runners.

Was everything there, or did you need to buy more parts?

It was all there. One stuffer was chewed up but that was it.

I've always been a stihl guy, but I have to admit these high top huskies with the full wraps and big spikes are really starting to look good. Someday I might have to take a walk down the other side of the road just to see the view if you know what I mean.;)
@Ron660 thats a nice looking saw.

They're worth it. I debate back and forth whether I'll sell my 372xp or not to finance a 390xp but it's a hell of a saw. I like it's hot rod character but I think I like the 044 a shade better outside of it's air filter. There are plenty of other great Husky saws too. You really can't got wrong with the better Huskies, Stihls, Echos, Solos/Dolmars and Efcos. It really boils down to preference, dealer support and specific model.
