Can I for one say that these "B!tch about millennials" conversations are about the only thing worse than oil ratio threads. Greatest generation, yeah, great folks there, and lame asses too. Boomers, same damned thing. Millennials, yep, you betcha. Maybe all you boomers got tons of praise from your elders who thought your generation was just the bee's knees, but I don't think it went down that way. I'm guessing you didn't really care what most of them thought about your generation. I hope this sounds familiar.

I respect your frustration with young people that you experience or see on the news or whatever, but I just want to say that it's unpleasant seeing the whole generation denigrated.

I see it all the time ......
Had an A/C unit go down in an area. Was 97 degrees outside and my guys were working on the unit, not a cloud in the sky, every guy on the roof was soaked with sweat. The people in the area of the downed unit cried when it hit 85 degrees in their space, their bosses sent them home saying that they were getting heatstroke.

Imagine that: office pukes couldn't sit at their cushy chairs in 85 while we worked on the roof in 97.

Here's the kicker.........1/2 of the office staff met at the beach. They wasn't getting heatstroke out in the 97 degree sun, but that 85 degree office was unbearable.

Then they demanded a credit on their rent for not being able to work

I always kinda gotta kick outta people that *b-worded about how hot it was outside that had an office job..kinda funny lol.

There have been, and will always be slackers.

My uncle was a worthless drunk that shoved my grandmother off the porch to get some money out of her hand. That takes a real piece of crap.....and he was from the "greatest generation".

I agree with you. Pigeon holing an entire generation because some of them are soft it silly.

The real problems with our society are far too deep for us to discuss here.

Fix these damn chainsaws!!!!!!!!

I'm gen X and married to a millennial and I'll tell you she's one of the most level headed hardest working people I've ever met. I too think the world is f**cked but instead of *b-wording about it I choose to teach my kids values of hard work and self sufficiency so they'll be prepared no matter what the future holds.

Like Randy said there will always be slackers there will always be those who bust their ass too. I've got 4 millennials at my work who do not fit with their generation. They work really hard, and bust their ass daily. They have great mechanical skills too. Best thing to do is surround yourself with the hard workers no matter what generation. The lazy turds can go complain in their echo chambers and they will find that since they don't lift a finger to do anything for themselves life will be the same crap for them. Keep on keepin on... I've taken a break from the news and such and just focus on family and what matters... The lazy sacks can do what they want.
