i take 4 or 5 drug tests a year we have a yearly we have to do then randoms on the job also there is some contractors that will not hire you in if you dont take a drug test . they dont bother me because all id have in system is caffeine and nocotine . ive had the mouth swabs and ive had them watch when peed in a cup , kinda uncomfortable when its a cute little nurse but i make a joke of it and do my thing . my work is dangerous and have been 50 feet froma guy when he fell into rotten duct work we was getting ready to replace while the unit was running . glad i dont have good hearing for that day . but i agree with randy cant have someone impaired working with tools

Addiction is a horrible thing, it may be achohol or weed or the worse that is out there. keep your head up Randy you did the right thing. Some individuals need to hit the bottom before they open their eyes. With this situation being a loved one it makes it even worse. Been there and it's the worst feeling, Your son in law is in my prayers.

Visit your doctor again, do whatever he tells you to do and if he tells you that you need to wear a girdle, then damn well take pictures

Ive had better luck healing torn mucles and tendons ect from seeing sports trainer recovery phsio specialists at the gym than presciption drugs from a doctor , exerciseing and making the muscle stronger and getting blood flow to repair the damage is what the guy always says to me . When i was climbing and selling firewood and timber i felt *s-word all year round and i actually started doing yoga and it changed everything

Welp.......back from another exam. Same diagnosis. Badly ripped groin muscle.

He said he does not think I need surgery. He gave me some steroids to jump start the healing process. And......he told me to try and stay horizontal for a few days.

After I start healing a little, stretching exercises are in my future.

Get well soon, Randy. Sucks getting older when you don't heal up as quickly as you once did. I am not too awfully far behind you on age and I can fell it too. Sounds like you are just going to have to take it easy for a while. I wish I were closer I would love to come hang out/volunteer on the weekends to lend a hand.

The other situation just sucks all around. No easy solution for that one, but luckily you know an expert on how to get and stay clean. Congratulations BTW! It sounds like you did what needed to be done. You were loud and clear about letting him know that it is not okay, and you will not stand for it. You are also defunding the addiction so it will likely get better or worse but at least it should not stay the same. Nobody wants to be around that, be and enabler or put your loved ones in that situation.
