I buy a stick whenever I can, and the Mustang has one, but I have to admit, I am impressed with the 10 speed auto in my new Ecoboost F-150. If you are towing a trailer, and set the cruise control, it will just down shift to maintain speed up steep hills! And the reports I hear is that tranny (jointly developed with Chevy) is nearly bullet proof!

As for electric (etc) vehicles, if you add in the manufacturing, disposal, and generating the electric, all (if any) gains to the environment get wiped out. Maybe some day … but for now I think it is just a con game.
Way to early to call it bullet proof...it will be good I am sure. Time will tell.

The latest.....and possibly the worst.

So.....I heard from the Amish fellow I posted about earlier. He was checking on a saw he'd bought from me.

In our conversation I asked if he ever managed to get anything at all from Terry. He said Capital One told him he'd waited too long to file the claim. But......they were able to give him a new phone number for Terry. He called.....and Terry answered. Terry gave him a hard luck story that evidently was very convincing. He told him that he was going to send him that 390XP, and to make things right, if he paid for two more saws, he'd send him three. Jonathan was skeptical, but agreed to pay for those saw after he got a tracking number for the first one. In a few hours he got that tracking number. So.....he paid for two more saws. Well.....that tracking number was never picked up.....never made it into the mail stream. After a few days he called Capital One again. This time he got his money back. What makes this so bad to me? Attempting to rip this fellow off took some planning.......

I don't mean any disrespect, just calling it as I see it. And that is, Jonathan is a sucker. Perhaps the Amish are more trusting but you don't have to be Amish to be a sucker. Because this saw expert, based on all I have read, is a genuine con artist. It is that simple. I don't know what will stop him now other than prison.

I know the stated objective of this thread is to get google hits, so I tried it and for me it brings up the “not so wicked” thread in reviews... IDK how to get this thread to the top of the hit list on google

I had to Google "Wicked Work Saws" and "Terry Landrum" to find it. Yeah......I'm not sure how to promote it either. Maybe Steve @exCanuck has some ideas?????

Well that just proves that Terry is no good anymore and everyone needs to stay far far away from him.

I'm not much of a fan of google search lately. They keep changing the algorithms used for finding results, but they seem less logic based, and more base on one person's idea of an ideal google search. I used to be happy with scrolling through 10 pages of results, but now if it's not on the first page, there's almost no hope of finding what you want. They can only fit so much variety in that first page.

Searching for information seems to be getting worse + worse!!! Somebody better do something about it.

Having all of your information (and that for your kids and grandkids) being dependent on a few large corporations with political agendas is not an acceptable option.

Even scarier when you realize that for current school kids, search engines have replaced encyclopedias.

Most of the first page is advertisiments, people trying to peddle crappy products or services. Seems to have started right after the net neutrality law was done away with IMHO. All of our lawmakers are owned by someone or something.

We should link this thread to the "not so wicked" thread if possible

Edit I have no axe to grind, in fact I have one of Terry's saws down in the basement getting lower in value by the minute. This is about THEFT of innocent people's hard earned money.
