I spent a fair amount of time behind the windshield of a big rig and have seen all of the lower 48 save ND and ME. I never had a problem with a region, it was always the big cities I hated. I never found customers in southern cities to be significantly more friendly than in northern cities.... It really is a urban vs country thing. Believe it or not, there are alot of country folk up here in the north who aren't all that different from country folk down south/out west/etc etc....

Us NYers aren't all hippy/communist/liberal/progressive Killary supporters... We drive trucks with NRA stickers on the rear windows, own firearms, shoot, make our own ammo, take care of each other, support the men and women in uniform (military and police), and would rather spend a week riding ATV's on Tug Hill ending the day in front of a campfire with a cold one in our hand than go to Manhatten for any reason.... NYC is our idea of hell on earth.. In fact, I would rather have my last testicle removed than be forced to live in that dung heap.

Country isn't a geographical thing, it's and upbringing and state of mind thing. ;)

Oh and that wasn't my truck... This is my truck.....You can see a little orange in the rear window through the open passenger door window... That's my Husky sticker...

As I recall, New York is also home to The Dumpster. And people wonder why Americans have a bad image of New Yorkers...

Wow, harsh. Why's that? It ain't Kentucky, sho nuff, but New York has some of the most beautiful, unspoiled country in the U.S. of A!
The High Peaks of the Adirondacks are spectacular.

"The Adirondack Park spans 6.1 million acres and is larger than the state of Massachusetts. In fact, several National Parks could fit inside the Blue Line (the line on a map that designates the outline of the park), including Glacier, Yosemite, the Great Smoky Mountains, Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon."

Sposed to be secret.
Now we gonna hab all youse guys runnin round the place.........

To hell with all the accent, north, south chit...lets get a few cases of cold beer, go get on some bass, bream, or crappie...or go head shot wild hogs about 200-300 yards away in tower stands. Either of those options will bring some southern/northern folk together. Or a damn good GTG one. :Saeufer:

I left behind the booze long ago. I'd love to go bream fishing, and crappie (you said it like a true JAWGA guy). And I'd love to shoot some hogs, grind some sausage, cure some hams and smoke some tenderloins. I can deal with the accent of anyone (attitude is a bit different, but it is certainly not a geographical problem :D).

I'm southern, and yes my neck is red. I really don't care where a person is from. I like get together's though I've not officially been to one sponsored by a chainsaw guy -- I'd be game if I could work it out. I'd like to put a half dozen butts, a few whole briskets, and some marinated, bacon wrapped tenderloin on my pig cooker and get the tables ready for a bunch of saw guys. Other than that, life is short, God is good, and I'm glad I was born under the red-white and blue. Thank God for our military and our freedoms! Good night!

Yeah, one side of my family came through Ellis Island, and the other Plymouth Rock.
