Getting my xl2 up and going. Combined 2 into 1. Minor problem is there is a very little white death on it. I wire brushed using my drill and was able to expose “clean” magnesium. Because of this I want to paint the saw. Before that happens I need to do a little body work on the former white death.
Can anyone recommend a product (bondo?) that will accep primer, paint, and clear? TIA

Not sure if it’s the best or not, but my 365 had a hole rotted through the oil tank. I degreased everything and filled the hole with JB Weld. It looks exactly like it did four or five years ago and doesn’t leak. I would think you could sand off the JB Weld and it would hold primer and paint just fine
