I built 5 or 6 very accurate sporters (non-bull-barrel). Dig the classic walnut stocks.

That's cool!
Tac 65 suppressor, threaded barrel, target crown, oversize action pins, bolt buffer, 16 oz trigger, bolt face trued and headspace set, vintage made in Japan Tasco world class 3.5 - 10 x 50mm.

Nice!

I've done a couple reworked factory barrels, but like the 16.5" fluted sporter Green Mountain barrels mo better. Need to work up a threaded barrel though.

I have one also, bought new in the mid 80s'. High quality rifle!
Yeah
This thing is minty.
Bought it from a Ruger collector.
It's maybe cycled 40 rounds. 38 of which were mine.

Also have a Ruger American Youth Compact .17HMR and a M77 MKII chambered in 6mm Rem

Tractors are my real passion between pulling, fixing, and farming with them but they are a lot more expensive than saws so saws tide me over. My wife and her family have Percheron draft horses that she really loves so we show them in the summer a couple times. After I get some stuff paid off my extra income money will go back into the pulling tractor. My Dad,brother and I do some custom chopping and I have a combine I do custom work with that would be considered a hobby by today's farming standards but I really like doing that to
