Tipped oil from fuel tank, seemed the rest had evaporated, been at least 10 years since run.

Poor spark.

Ignition Timing way out.

Had a broken key and slipped flywheel.

Lined up flywheel, set timing to 16deg btdc.

Filled fuel tank.

Verified advance by timing light, spinning with drill and spark plug removed.

All together.

Pulled rope, fired 3rd go, perfect idle.

I have never had a saw with so much compression, I set up a piece of wood to hold the saw down, otherwise I just lift the saw up, and that’s with pulling from tdc.

The cart has a KT100 on it, it's been sitting for 10 years, but that's going to change. I took it on trade from a family member, gonna get it running and dump it most likely.

Yeah the Scout is pretty clean, it's in my shop for some repairs that should've been addressed when it was restored. It's factory Nissan diesel Scout, it's gutless but pretty neat.

Did some cleanup and finished up the bottom end on an ltr450! It was a full rebuild and came disassembled in a million pieces and in 4 boxes!! Lol

The ltr is a pretty badazz factory hot rod. Too bad they discontinued them.

Don't over torque those cam caps.....
Put new cams in several "won't run" customer rebuilt themselves top ends!!!

Ya, it’s like they knew side by side were about to take over! Yamaha is the only sport quad manufacturer now!

Yzf 250/450 were some pretty stout motors, built a lot of those and ran a 250f for years in xc.

Working on an Arctic 660. Had a hole busted in its case. Otherwise a super clean saw.

Split case, robbed crank and slug. New bearings and seals into a Glock Mike redone case. Got the squish cut and ran out of time before the dinner bell.

step one, remove every last fitting/grommet misc parts off the old top handle and install on the bare piece of plastic you bought
