I'm gonna lighten the piston anyways. I did check the chain adjuster and the ring gear was too large to fit in the case. I'll open the hole up tomorrow and see how it feels.Check your piston weight. If the get heavier than OEM 460, IMO, the vibrations become very annoying.
Unlike some of the 660s, an OEM chain adjuster (or AM HL Supply one) will just go right in and work fine w/o and shims or mods. However, the one that comes with it will need some work to work!
Are you guys silly?......Just gonna' send it!
Keep'er tuned...Are you guys silly?......

Another Day Another Beer....Keep'er tuned...
I'll open it up with my fordom and see what I haveI was able to open the hole on one just by "force turning" the gear. However, it is also thinner (width wise) than an OEM gear, so to make it work right I had to put a modified washer under it.
I can NOT watch that chit at work. I laugh hysterically every single time. Unreal!Another Day Another Beer....

Well that's quite a gap there did you check the squish on the old cylinder and piston?Motosealed tonite. Thats about it. Spun clutch on for a lever to check squish. Super impressiveView attachment 137470used Stihl factory clamshell so i didnt have to machine out the bushing holes to fit in the saddle.
Honestly I have no clue. I'll smooth and blend the windows then take excess material out. I'll have to look at it this evening. It's just a Chinese saw so if I take too much out and the piston grenades oh well lolI would love to see some pics on doing this. I've considered it, but just don't have the balls at the moment!
Any idea how much weight comes off?
I want to grenade a cheap chineese saw
Take the piston and thin the windows alot and lean it out.I want to grenade a cheap chineese saw
