It was a Champion. Which is odd since I have a whole handful of brand new NGKs and typically stick with NGK.
My PS-7300 came with a Champion plug and it fell apart without warning, to my luck the top came off.

I'm sticking with NGK BPMR7A.
I have the factory original one in my PS-6400 which is in use since 2006.
I also like that they still claim made in Japan, at least the two spares I bought recently do.

That's really bad the plug ruining Your saw!

Worst part is its not my saw! Its a Jonsered 2065 I converted to a ported and polished (to the best of my abilities) 372 top end and 372 carb/intake.

038m turned out ok...
Need some smalls (fuel line, tank vent, metal ring for carb boot, air filter and such) to finish it off and run it.

Have had 2 NGK plus fail me, one the porcelain came loose on the inside, the other went dead on my ATV 5 miles in the bush.
I am working on a 1983 XL600 no charge no spark,, got to test yet but think the stator is toast. Seems common.

Auction saw...was covered in crud. Riggid up a coil wire and a little mix down her throat. She runs!..sorta.

All the intake stuff is missing..

...who says you can't get much for a dollar anymore. Lol

That's a great saw to build. Nice score on that one DJ.
