That's pretty cool. What all did you get?

Weaver Cougar saddle, gonna Liger mod it; Split tail; 2 in 1 lanyard; Carabiners; throw bags and line; rings; pulley; rope of course; and of course a free hat and stickers lol...

ETA: Oh and a figure 8 and rope bag, plus some odd and end hardware.

Next order will include a nice helmet and spikes, but it has to wait. I have a MOFO 036 coming this week :D

Awesome! We don't have the massive trees out here, but it's gonna be fun to "branch out"...pun intended.

What starter gear did you pick up? I've got my eye on a Pfanner Protos as soon as it's feasible. Longer ropes too, since I ordered just 120' to start. Once I'm comfortable with the old fashioned way, a Zigzag is on my radar too. Oh and a rigging setup.

I got the combo kit from wesspur. It's a rope and spur set up. Next will be a rigging kit for sure. I'm going to go old school split tail with a Blakes or VT for awhile. That zigzag does look really nice though.

I'm doing a Blake's via the split tail. I insist on learning the hard way till I'm super comfortable. I've got some great practice trees lined up, and some great teachers!

It's always best to start with the dirty ones first, easier to appreciate the other ones :D.....353 year 06, got water in the fuel tank, saw is far better inside then outside, can't complain about one 40$ saw!

My simple tool system, time to get an friend of me to lathe out some seal adapters

crushed 560 xpg, always wonder how the heat element looks inside, that is work for tomorrow ;)
_DSC4334.jpg

while we are at them 5xx serie saws, 560 and 550 (and 562 also) generators has diameter 59mm, same thread distance also, the white is the 550....

I don't know how much the price difference are in US between those two generators, but in Norway them 560/562 generators are far more pricey compared against the 550 generator.
Btw, 346 generator is also one bolt on solution, it's just to make a tad longer cable and connection points.

Waiting for the sealant to cure before I can do p&v test.

This one is up next, 140$ saw, low hour 353, will get a good cleaning and one new partition wall + clamp. I thought to flip her out fast, but, maybe it's time to start to build up one collection of summer saws? :D
