Not sure that I’d do that, takes too long to say her name, and even longer to spell it out when you post about her.

Maybe something shorter, one word like, ya know ........... like cracker or cranky

“Something real special” is just not cutting it Kev

As far as what’s on my bench ?
A bunch of thermometers are telling me that my bench area is 102 degrees.......... so whatever is sitting on my bench is just sitting there for now. I’m hoping to get some progress this weekend, been working my fat arse off at work lately. Need some play time.
Did you move to Georgia?:D:sun_smiley:

JD 737 is in the garage. Started chasing down the oil leak and had to remove the flywheel, so i figured I would just do it in frame. Broke 2 pullers trying to remove the flywheel.... so engine came out.

Just got the flywheel off, making dinner now; pork roast with marsala wine marinated veggies/red potatos.

Got some JB Weld and fixed the stripped hole on the tree guy's 460. I'll fire it up and see how it runs tomorrow.

Also put another one of my 460 cases together today, put a Meteor piston in it, and topped it with one of those HL Supply door buster 460 jugs. The ports needed some clean up, but I gotta say I'm impressed with it overall. Very nice transfers, which is rare on AM jugs.

I just sanded the base a bit and dropped the intake and got squish of .0225, Ex 103.5, Tr 124 and In 80 (was 72). Have to wait for some more parts to come in, but I'm looking forward to seeing how it runs.

Now you just need to time all these 1128 saws in the same log with same b/c just to see what one performs best.

Oh I agree that wasnt the nickname. I just got to come up with something besides the B word right now. ;)

So we will see when I get in the mood to put the other crank back in on the rebuild.

Two motors, one a Mariner 115hp 4 cyl (Force/Chrysler roots) , the other a true Merc 115 inline 6..:) Has 120 lbs on all cylinders turning slow.....

Have to gut the boat and build new stringers and a floor more suitable to fishing for me, get rid of all the seating up in the open bow and make that better for standing/fishing. Transom is solid.

Just trying to learn as I go Mason. If I really like how one runs over the others, I will likely open the others back up to see what I can do.

Right now I'm just learning/experimenting.

And at the risk of howls of disapproval, I'm thinking of putting a more restrictive muffler on the D jug saw to see if it helps. It helped on one 660, but did not work on others. I wish I understood why.

Taching them in the wood to see how much there holding in wood helps me learn gains if I don’t have time to video them. 10-11k self feeding is what you want to aim for with a good chain imo.

Pretty sure that comes in the OEM Stihl accessory bag. Boof it then go cut wood...

They changed the recipe a few years back and now they ain't as good. But we did save one back at work and hot damn you could hear colors after a couple pulls.
