Working on the 133. Heated the ignition plate with a heat gun and ripped all the potting out so I could remove the ignition board and replace the kill switch wire. Soldered in new wire, made a couple reliefs in the case where the ignition board sits for the wires to come out and not be so close to the flywheel. Sealed it all back up with liquied electrical tape. And of course I forgot to take pictures while I was doing it.

A little ugly but it should be fine. Debating on drilling a couple holes in that aluminum case to allow some airflow to keep it cool since they are known to have heat soak issues.

Made a mistake taking on another builders shoddy work. The builder shall remain nameless, but this is the last of their saws my hands will touch.
A bit of piston slap, I wonder why it’s rubbed. A stock pin don’t fit, as the piston mods messed up the pin bore. Well, let’s just sand a pin down to fit!
Piston in bore had more than .008 of room to move. Compared with a new meteor.

The nameless builder was off a bit on his machining. This is what 4 off the base and 8 out of the band looked like. It took 7 to true base fully and I was forced to take 10 from the band. He had actually got 18 squish in one area, which I zeroed off of. The squish now sits at 22. The nband coulda used another 2 out, but it’s only out near chamber and I smoothed it with scotchbrite.

Now I just have to work on this amazing timing advance and the awesome muff mod. Case has been split already.
