Up next on my bench is a Stihl MS250 and a 290 to be rebuilt and a couple of 010 top handles to see if I can get to run. The 010s should be a chore since neither has a choke handle and I'm not sure where to look for one, maybe I'll save them for last.. By the way, ebay has one of those handles and are wanting around $48 for it! Think I'll pass...

I hope you have better luck with the clutch covers than I did. I ordered three, one from CAL, one from NJ and one from China, all three turned out to be 61 covers. I got feed up and ordered oem covers.

These saws aren't mine but I imagine the guy who owns them would probably sell both of them for $48.. too bad the Chinese aren't making these or they would be about .48 apiece.

No hopes, I found two more saws which didn't have levers on them either. There's a local guy that sells saws and parts that might have one but he recently passed away so I doubt that avenue is open. I'll keep the saws for a while and try to use something homemade to try to start one of them then give them back to owner...

This sparking plug took out this 365. I found the electrode stuck in the cyl head and managed to keep up with it until it fell thru my bench. Did not know exactly what it was for a while, looked like a small roll pin. Scratched my head for a day wondering about it and then I picked up the spark plug and really looked at it.
I’m rethinking NGK, much as I like them. AA4DAD8E-B9B3-46F1-9EE7-967808DB6641.jpegCEDAEF0C-B80E-48F4-B23F-2ED697FA2F5F.jpeg

Original plug? NGK is about the best for saws in my experiences, but nothing lasts forever or is bulletproof. I replace the plug on every newly acquired saw I get as preventative maintenance.
