What's on your bench?

Next bench I build will be taller than the one I use now.

It seems like every time I blink she grows up more! I'll give her some cash for helping me minue taxes.......
I've be teaching her about taxes and how its dedicated out of my paycheck and I don't really have a choice about it. So sometime I make her figure out how much she owns the IRS "mom"

I've got a tall bench in the basement I use that is about perfect. And a rubber horse stall mat to stand on.

No, its only tidy because I just built it.

It wont stay like that.
I put black rubber on it to stop all the oil and crap damaging the timber bench top.
I plan to build a heap of shelves to hold all the bits up off the work area.

A thin but expensive sheet of stainless steel is the best bench topper

More cleaning and showing my oldest the degree wheel & angles! She was to layout and cut some angles.

Got a nice 024 project here from eBay. It was already stripped some when I got it. Piston & cylinder look good. Crank seems fine. Has a vacuum cap on the impulse nipple though. Kinda odd.

Maybe someone did a pressure/vacuum test on it? I have a hose I can test through the spark plug if needed.

Could be, but it really looks like it should have been running. The piston is fine other than a little wear on the intake side. Nothing I wouldn't expect on a saw of that age.
