Didn’t make 5 pulls

Wow, never seen that before! You must have 1) Very High compression, 2) Very low exhaust, and 3) Lots of ignition timing advance!

Hope when it runs it is worth the trouble.

My Dr Al 660 BB was impossible for me to start (used a 2 handed pull). Dr Al lowered the exhaust a bit and it runs just as well and starts much easier, but it is still my loudest saw, and the only one that makes my neighbor's complain!

Best of luck with it.

Process of elimination with the fuel system on this 4300. Dealer couldn't figure it out. It's definitely the carb, primer bulb will only fill half way with fuel. It'll start run for a little bit, get lean and die.

As long as the duck bill in the primmer is working fine then I often find its down to the pump diaphragm tabs not working right. After a lay up it has happened mostly . Sometimes fresh fuel and some time pumping then sitting for a few mins often seems to sort things out before a kit change . Had a Ps 420 do just this recently from being sat a while .

Talked with Nate and a just buying a new carb almost seems like a no brainier. A new carb from him was twice as much as a kit. While I have it apart I'm gonna replace the fuel lines and primer bulb though.

Would be nice to be able to get cheep parts in the UK . We pay heavy for carbs and most other parts over here so for me it mostly comes down to a rebuild.

I broke a few of those i started using the new style husky clone handles hl sells.
Friend of mine built a little 390 with the hyway popup he kept breaking ropes
So i gave him 4.5 true blue rope
Now he needs a recoil assembly
He broke it lol
