Dropped by a little auction yesterday and picked up a couple shelf queens.



To be fair, the 3400 looks to have had some use at least, but I don't think the Echo 300 EVL has had more than 2 tanks of gas through it. Not bad for $5 ea.

Jonsered 2166 leans out and dies when turned on it's side. Broken brake flag and broken av springs. Oh and a hole in the muffler.

Saw is owned by a local logger, he just started using the saw this winter and it looks like its 20 years old! Shoot I have saws 30 years old that are in way better shape!

Fuel line leaks fuel everywhere, probably the air leak. It also has a questionable seal. It's gonna get new seals, fuel line and filter, spark plug, brake flag, av mounts and muffler. Possibly grind the baffles in the transfer covers and a base delete too.

Check out the bearings too, I wouldn’t put much faith in that saw. Sounds like he abused it.
