Like everything it might not be for some. The wife got it for me for Christmas. I really like it. They make three different sizes. It really worked well for this brisket as all the juices stayed contained to the tub versus all over the table. If you find another brand or style and buy it please send your feedback.

I ordered a similar one on Amazon after seeing yours. I'll let you know what I think.

Can't like , cause ya missed sending a invite YET again.
Dam were good enuf for cutting wood but . . . Guess I'll have to pull out a rib roast and forget the invites as well. Uh Huh
Unfortunately this was not my party I was just asked to cook the brisket. This was for the maintenance crew at Nickelodeon universe as a thank you from their higher ups. Maybe next time I’ll send out an invite to you.

Hi Nic, how ya been doing with the the return to more frequently being on your knees / return to working type stuffs?

Just busting your chops a bit on the brisket, just for funs.
But seeing your effort. it made me want to have some beef, so I did have to pull out a rack of bones for our version of a several hour cook.

Kneeling down is not the easiest as I mentally tense up. The amount of walking and stairs I do in a day sure seem to be helping though. Tiresome for sure but about an hour rest when I get home with an ice pack makes a difference. Next week will be the real test when I work 5 days not 4. Hopefully by September I’ll be able to make Steve’s gtg as Ed needs a full mooning. @redline4

Braved the on and off rains, keeping the weber warm.

After a brief rest, you be the judge.

This was one of the most tender pile of bones that I can remember.
There was plenty of flavors as well.
Ended up making sandwiches. burps for sure.

Sea Scallops on the Cast Iron , on the grill , View attachment 423186
What are you doing for prep, seasoning and cooking? Those look GOOD!

2 years ago when we were in the Boothbay Harbor area for a reunion, those sea scallops became my first choice of seafood. Hardshell L wasn't even a close 2 choice. A place called Lobster Warf became our preferred go-to feedbag location.

I use Kelly’s Irish Butter and Sea Salt , sear on both sides real quick on very hot grill done , 👍 Cast iron pan works great for that, The key is (DO NOT) over cook them,
