Some beer can chicken smoked with Cherry wood today for dinner. Turned out perfect! Iwent a lil farther than normal and pulled at 170 instead of 165. Skin seemed crispier and wasnt dry by no means. Think i will go to 170 from now. Of course Busch Light was used. EnjoyTnA ACTION

Some beer can chicken smoked with Cherry wood today for dinner. Turned out perfect! Iwent a lil farther than normal and pulled at 170 instead of 165. Skin seemed crispier and wasnt dry by no means. We used to boil ribs in RC cola before we would grill them and it made the meat fall of the bone tender. Does the Coke have the same effect? And thanks for the tip

Getting ready, now in the smoker. Might be done by 3:00 tomorrow. Set the PID at 225 degrees , will check it again in the morning. All Cherry wood this time, about 6 ounces.
