If anyone knows what this is let me know. I thought it might be some type of bar grinder. There is two motors under the table top. I could not find the thread on the bar grinders that I saw on here before.

Looks like a home-built rig of some sort - probably to square up bars. That GE motor definitely dates back to the old days...

Are the stones different grit? One side looks like it has had more use...

The vertical spindle looks like it could have been used with a disk to grind bar grooves. This is a machine tool called a Bar Shop that could grind the rails, clean the burrs of the bar edge, grind the grooves, and even close the bar rails with the trip hammer attachment.

I picked up something similar when a local school redid their art shop. Something to do with polishing ceramics. I repurposed it with two polishing wheels.
