I have a early to mid well used 90's Gavely promaster 200 60" deck 20 hp kohler command.Paid 20 dollars for it yah thats right a you suck thing right.Well I had to put 700.00 into it still not bad.Since relocating don't half to mow as much sandy soil use it more for mulching leaves only mow once a month its just different enviromant.Made a blocking plate to cover the dischage on deck helps for mulching but keeps the dust down installed some highoregon high lift blades on it.But since Ive mulching starting to see better grass where as next year should be better than the year before .I will half to get some pics up.

Howdy folks,first post here.
I use Stihl FS560,a 550,and a Husky 252rx clearing saws on 370 acres of bush in Fryerstown,central Victoria,Australia.
Clearing scrub around the bases of the eucalypt coppices, the pruning the coppices with a Stihl 044.
Also do a lot of work clearing tracks.
I love these big clearing saws, the Godzilla of trimmers, theyre hard work physically, but it is great fun watching the wilderness recede before you.
Anyway, good to be on the forum,
regards,SkipIMG_0851.jpg

All you guys with your zero turns. I just want a diesel Cub Cadet with a 60" Habrun deck. Right now 782 CC for the grass,682 CC on the rototiller,34turbo Castor brushcutter with string head,8410 Efco brushcutter with hedgeclipper head(perfect for long fence runs) and a IH model 100 balanced head mower for field borders and road frontages.

Spring promotional $0 down Exmark sale in your neck of the woods?
I told my salesman our stuff was still too low hours to replace any mowers this year, he told me he didn't care because a municipality that I referred to him bought 55 pallets of Calcium this winter :)

It looks and rides nice. Just circumstances have left us with 500 or fewer hours on all the exmarks right now. We normally turn them over between 1200 and 1500.
We did some down sizing last year (fewer clients, more profit) and sold off older machines that we didn't still use in the fall, leaving us the low hour stuff.

I picked up a couple of new items... a Yardbeast 3.5" capacity, 14HP chipper (bought that new) and a used Carlton SP-2000 stump grinder. I have a couple of more things to do to the Carlton, but I've put it to work, already. Apparently, all you really have to do is leave it in the front yard and customers show up at your door. The chipper is working very well for what we wanted it for. It doesn't mind chipping all day, which is good, because it's not very fast. But a big tow behind wasn't in the budget and is really overkill, since we cut all of the trees up into firewood and kindling. We normally don't chip stuff over an inch and a half diameter, so this thing chips that smaller brush easily. We get plenty of chips without ending up with huge piles of the damn things.
