Remy bars are generally the Homelite (3/8" studs) mount. 3/8" OD X .030" extension spring @ 5-6 coils make 'em fit McCulloch, Echo and Poulan.

The slot in the bar is 3/8" wide. The "S" clip slides over 8mm or 5/16" studs (like D176 mount) so the bar can fit on a lot more chainsaws. You can cut a strip of shim stock and make your own. I haven't measured one before but it should be around .030" thick material.

there's also spring/coils that you can slip over the bar stud to make it bigger. I think Modified Mark gave me a couple back when that adjust a bar from 8mm to 9.2mm or maybe it was 9.2mm to 10mm???

The S clip style can be found readily available on eBay.

I have made my own "S" clip out of some shim stock to make a D196 fit a large mount husky. If I remember right I used a .010" shim.
