Got this bar from a farmer friend, he knows I like saws and such. If pretty rough, but I was able to get the sprocket freed up with little effort. just a logger grease in the holes and a light tap with a chisel. Thing is i have no idea what it goes on, looks like maybe a mcculloch or a homelite. Will it work on a husqvarna?20160620_095732.jpg 20160620_095738.jpg

It has a D176 mount look to it. Lots of McCullochs take those. Check stud slot width. D176 = 8.0mm.

D176 usually oils through the adjuster holes. Looks like a D196 home lite mount to me. How wide is the stud slot?

It appears to be a D196 type mount as Ryan, and Rodney alluded to. It should have a 9.5mm stud slot, which will help verify the mount pattern. With the use of an S clip, or the spring spacers, it can also be utilized on a D176 based saw.

As saws modernized, and many different manufacturers used the D176 and D196 mounts, oil passages were/ are located in both the adjuster pin are, as well as the upper bar rail area.

As to whether it could be run on a Husqvarna?.........Yes, on a large mount, but it may be a little wobbly in the mounting process.

I have made my own "S" clip out of some shim stock to make a D196 fit a large mount husky. If I remember right I used a .010" shim.

Don't forget it will run on the bigger ol' Poulans/Pioneers too. 655bp/p60/61/52/50 etc etc etc

Homelite & Lombard mount right Uncle Jon?
Si señor, plus the larger Poulans, Poulan Pro's(Partner based too), older Echo's (900, 1001), etc.

They are also easy enough to open up a wee bit for use in place of a D024, and use on larger Olympyk's, and older Jonsereds.

What would a remington roller nose bar fit on. I have a 25" bar that would be neat to fit on something.
