Wanted to say Hello, and show you my new saw!

I Just found the site the other day. I figured I'd share my new saw and say hello. I just picked up a 661 today. I'll give it a shot and see. Hopefully I got a good one! I ran a tank of gas through it when I got home. I figured I will just break it in noodleing a sugar maple. No problems on the first tank!! It's wearing a 32" light bar. Happy so far to say the least!! I'll see if I can put some more fuel through it this weekend.

I'm not as familiar with Stihls model line to know exactly what you have there, but I do know it's a larger sized pro-grade model. I'm sure it will serve you well for a long time to come if you do your part in maintaining it properly.

I have had mine for about six months maybe 20 tanks, I only use it for big wood and when I want to have fun. Do the muffler mod and run some fuel it will be a torque monster, Randy can build a hell of a ported 661 watch a few of his videos.

Thank you for all the reply's. No, this isn't my only saw. I have a 261 c and a ms 440 also. I guess I need to make a signature. I traded my dolmar 7900 on this. I am alittle nervous, I do hear of some problems with them. I guess I'll put it in the big wood and run it like I stole it so if she gives me problems it'll be under warranty. Love the site. Had a conversation with wolverine last evening about another topic not related to this. You may see me over in the milling forum some. Wonderful people with lots of Info. Didn't want to boast about the new saw, but seems like everyone likes pictures of new saws. And I wanted to say hello anyhow!!

Small world... I used to play a game called photo tag. Pa motorcyclists (on a different forum) would drive to locations and snap a pic. Another guy would post his bike next to the same landmark, then get to relocate the next tag location. This day took me to:

You might want to send your saw to get the Mastermind treatment to give it some piss and vinegar in the operation. Added to that when finished he will stick on a decal that will add another 1-2% faster operation and increase its value by 50%.
