Full disclosure, I voted for the 041. Because there was a 70cc version maybe I’m also guilty for picking a wrong class saw. Lol. Not sure if they were released at the same time or if the Super came later?

Is there any way to convert small mount hooskies to large mount? Can you just put the large mount studs in? It really bugs me having to have different bars for a small “baby” mount saw when I have a bunch of 20/24” large mount husky and stihl bars with adapters already for all the other normal saws...

Oiler hole is a good 1/4” lower on the small ones.

O36 for me. Have a 262 also. Both perform about the same. 036 is lighter, more compact feel. Better starter and chain brake, and metal bar cover. The 262 starter feels cheap, same with the brake flaghandle. I owned the 036 since new, 91 or 92, and a vood amount of use. Never even had a carb kit. Replaced the fuel and impulse hoses recently just to be proactive.
The 262 is a non decomp about 94, has less time on it that the 036 and has had 2 recoil pulleys, and 2 partition dividers, which crumbled apart. Also a bad ignition coil.

The 365 XT on the other hand is a complete turd imho and shouldn’t be confused with the real deal 365 special lol. The 365 xt is a good value for the money though if your mechanically inclined enough to remove the transfer dividers that kill the power in it.
