Philbert - you can look at the Popular Science article when you are here, they only mention the bar shown.

The chain and sprocket are also very unique, 3/8" pitch chain, A-8 type tie straps, scratcher teeth (2 left 2 right, repeat). It is AS chain and the sprocket is 9T.

I’m ready to see the museum, Charlie and I are coming down Friday afternoon and spending the night at a hotel so we have some time Saturday to see stuff. I will also have the mcs 20 homelite for you and a few other old saws for the museum if you want. I’ll bring down and you can pick and choose ect.

Yes, that way the chain is cutting on the up side as a circular saw blade would do.

Of course, several companies now sell chainsaw attachments for cutting beams (SKIL, Mafell, Prazi, Makita?).

But I also started thinking about the triangular guide bar.

About what time do you begin in the morning? I’m driving down this afternoon and will be staying the night at a hotel so just wondering when is a good time to show up.

It was great having some visitors yesterday and today. I tried to send more home with them than they left with me but between Philbert stocking the refrigerator and Chris (Lehman live edge slabber) overstocking my Stihl collection I'm pretty far behind again.

Luke (Happy Saws) and Brian (54stude) also did their parts and I now have my work cut out for me once again.

Was a very enjoyable trip to the museum and fun talking saws. My oldest son had a great time and took 107 photos with his phone on Saturday. I’ll be back again sometime, maybe when the second building is up I’ll help him move some stuff over and find a way to increase the Stihl display a little more.

I'd love to see at least a few of his photos 😎🤠

You had about the best weather possible Saturday. Not many last Saturdays in March like that one was. I spent the day 2 hours south of there picking up saws.
