I once had a excavator operator from Canada tell me it was impossible to flip one.The dude is good, but they picked the right machine. Those C series Case machines were smooth as silk.
I remember back when the mini excavator challenges were first a thing as a couple… Shall we say, more production oriented Canadian guys put this out:
Interestingly enough, Jason Klapstein (who runs Vantagetes) was on Mythbusters years ago to confirm… The mini excavator challenges.
The chainsaw tree looks ripe, are they available for picking??Building gone, old foundation gone.
I guess that is better than finding puppies and kittens!!On the other hand, saws, trimmers, and the occasional power washer or tiller just appear out the back door from time to time.
Sadly here they would disappear. In March 2017 when one of our houses in Muscatine got hit by the tornado the scrounges went through the place stealing stuff. It is a little surprising that no saws have ever gone missing even though they are just stuck in slots in the posts...

Yea, frozen concrete is no bueno.Last week the trenches for the footings were dug, poured today, and the ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms) set up so they can pour the frost walls tomorrow. My guess is that will end the work until spring, can't risk pouring the floor and then having it freeze and heave it.
