Looking to get a splitter, I have a dealer that is a pretty good friend so the price shold be a little less than the average for a timberwolf.

Should I go with the tw-2 or the tw-2HD with lift?

I'd like the lift more for a table than anything as I'll probably hand split the ones I can't lift...

I guess I could build a table that is stationary for the tw-2.

Take a look at the specs on their website let me know what you think.

Get the lift. Save your back and let the lift do the work. You can thank me later. :)

Get a lift, you can thank Grimmy later. A lift would be my first option over a 4 way no questions asked but I cut a lot of larger wood. You can build a table too if you want

The TW-2HD will get you a lot heavier duty log lift that is hydraulic. The base model TW2 vs TW-2HD is about a $1000.00 difference.

But the table grate and log lift will be more money for the HD.

Margins are very small on these for the past few years and there has been a price increase which took affect a couple weeks ago.

Dare I ask what the list is on the one in the foreground?
Looks like TW been beefing some pieces up a little. Or maybe just options. There are so many I can't keep up with them.

Alex will certainly surpass your dealer in quality, engineering, and materials. He has one for sale now, hand made and custom engineered.
I really like Alex's splitters..
Is his new one all 3/4" lines?

Someone say log lift?

Red oak, 20" wide cut, bar is 28", so about 30-32" diameter chunks.

Ohh I saw his on Facebook.. might be a bit overkill for what I'm looking at both performance and price.
Possibly..
Call him and make an offer..
Ya never know..
