I heard it was on sale last week,so I figured I'd stop in today to see if it was on sale still. It was, I should of bought some winter blend too, the normal tsc oil is thick/real thick. I guess after the first tank when saw gets hot it don't matter much. But it is a bitc# to pour into oil tanks when it's below 35 degrees. The winter blend is much thinner more like stihl/husky bar oil in my experience.
I like the tsc bar oil because it's so thick, makes me think the tip bearings are getting plenty of lube. New bottle shape but same label, hopefully it's the same product as before.

I just checked website for my local TSC. It shows $7.99 for one or 2 for $12. A little deceiving. You have to click on the bar oil tab to see it...

When it gets cold add a little kerosene or diesel to the super thick oil. It doesn’t take much. I use diesel fuel because I always have it around

That’s what I do too when it gets below about 35 degrees.

If it gets that cold I play adults games in the house with my honey .I hate cold weather .--There was a time but that time is over -----For all intents I'm done for winter unless the weather holds out for a while .I was out today though, low 70's until about an hour ago .Noodled a few big rounds with a big Partner ,good noodler .

A long long time when it got cold and I sold firewood as a supplement for my income I have used auto tranny fluid .In that cold air the saws ran great once you got them started but they didn't oil so good .
Even further back when it really got cold enough to freeze the ballz off a brass monkey we drained the oil out of the 1938 Allis Chalmers crank start model B tractor and put it in the basement next to the furnace .If not you could not hardly pull that thing over to start it .
