After CC the chamber it's a touch too small. Figures up to about 255-260. Got to open it on up to 8.5cc.
I'm sure there is. I didn't think know about it that way.
Thanks. I've figured the quickest way for me to do them now. It's about 5 hours for one head and getting the cylinder ready for it.I like that head with a slug built it .Horstman years ago made a banjo bolt head that was slugged. They used a piston ring to seal it .I haven't seen a set up like that for decades ,nice job .
Mike does fantastic work. He's more importantly a great guy.I like that head with a slug built it .Horstman years ago made a banjo bolt head that was slugged. They used a piston ring to seal it .I haven't seen a set up like that for decades ,nice job .
That's the stock hole. They actually use 1'/4-20 for cylinder bolts. Only dang standard thread on it. I bought M6 in 110, 120, and 130mm for the 880. They look a lot better on there I think. With loctite and lock washers I think they'll be fine. I may switch these out later on to cap screws before it goes home. From the looks of things it looks like the cylinder flange has been drilled out .From M6 to M8 per chance? If so ,a good idea because it would be a beech finding that long of a M6. A smooth faced flange nut over the flange?
