Just tired of all the finger pointing and the mob mentality fellas. Nobody needs to get their britches in a wad. What JMS did was bad, real bad, and the folks here are helping the ones that got taken advantage of. I'm just ready for the site to go back to being fun and educational like it used to be. I don't think I'm the only one that feels this way either.

It's a 2 way street. It needs to be fun and educational, but alerting your buddies of some suspect sales isn't all bad either. Just needs to be gone about in the correct manner.

I agree with you but there will always be threads like this that pop up. Doesn't matter what forum you are on. Not being rude just saying it's simple if you don't like them then don't read them brother. Just like people on ignore, it works well.

Interesting, I wonder where the cranks and bearings come from, wrist pin bearings and what not.

I have nothing against using the Chinese parts but I believe some things should be upgraded to oem to prevent disaster

As for JMS, I haven't been a fan of the lynch mob mentality from the get-go. Those who have a dog in the fight, through a bad sale/friendship/helping with repairs, have a right to warn others. I think that's been done enough so that a google search should inform another potential buyer.

I wouldn't say that, I did a search for every variation of jmssaws and the only thing I came up with was a for sale thread

Just searched and the first hits were a for sale thread, the 064 thread, Another tear down thread, and another one. All relating to issues. Given the amount of threads involving his name it would be tough to obtain more direct results.
