There’s some out of lead, we blame it on gravity and snow damage, lol. I hate getting stuff out of lead, but it happens on these kind of jobs.

Killed by the pine bark beetle in 2015, near 100% mortality rate for mature ponderosa pine for our area. There was so much left after the power companies removed standing dead trees people could just get what they wanted and needed and now can't even give the wood away. That stuff in the pile was about 60% rotten.

@HYPERSAWS, myself, and two other guys in their 60’s are working on this unit. I have to admire those guys. In their 60’s and tearing it up out here with minimal complaints, lol.

The guy I broke in with at the company was 61 at the time (2002) and had been cutting since 1969. He still got with it. He left the company in 2003 after a pay dispute and went over and worked
for Northwest Timber Fallers for a year.

Sprocket does a better job than me. He’s a better commentator.
We just have to keep them motivated to get out of the pickup if it is raining in the morning, lol. Hard-working and honest guys.

Oh yeah, I've worked with Gary. We were on a fire at Prospect together in 2013. He told me some wild stories. He knew Frank back in the early days. He was on the Biscuit fire too.

I moved the 661 up the hill to the next tree justifying its use, lol. The 462 is nice for places like this with smaller timber.
