End of the day after "smallerizing" most of the tree. We'll have a crew clear away the cut stuff and then have another go at the big wood pieces still remaining.

This is in a recent forest fire area. They are logging all the timber, after it’s out the slash will get burned and the area will be replanted. Over 300,00 acres burned in this fire

Oh. Gotcha. Well I drop them and leave but then the buckers and skid crew come and process them, and load them on trucks, and eventually they end up as lumber at Home Depot or Lowe’s where we pay waaay too much.

I wish we would’ve taken some pictures of that upside-down half an old-growth below that upper bluff. That was pretty interesting.

From 4 years ago . Decent size cedar with a house a garage a Vinyard a propane tank and a fence so had to shorten it up. They wanted a tall stump they built a lounging deck on top. Typical rotten center.
