They place I ordered mine from didn’t, had to buy the heated wrap handle and put it on. As far as I know Husky isn’t selling saws with wrap handle installed any more , without heat or with.
I didnt think they did. That looks like a sweet setup. Made my own 372 XPGW 15 years ago.

No archie creek fire

I saw the press release from Lone Rock Timber that they were going to be jumping right on the salvage operations. I'm guessing it's that way for everybody.

I bet a guy can't find any available fallers anywhere now - everyone is working the big fires.

Yes, I did buy a buncher, and yes...I might be crazy, lol. A huge difference from hand-cutting, but something I’ve always wanted to do.

Congratulations I see it has some steep ground shoes or rock tillers on it, did you buy the tail hold too?

Up here everyone is heading to Molalla for a while sounds like there’s quite a bit of clean up to do. On a side note we’ve been seeing some torched wood come up here wondering if they’re the mills are getting too over run with it since it can’t be chipped.

I wonder if they can ship any of that overseas? I'm guessing not. They'd probably have to float it for a while to clean up some of the ash.

Very cool Mr. C - I think you got the right idea. You can contract your buncher out to the big fires down the line - You could probably get on one of the national contracts if you wanted through
Virtual Incident Procurement. I know of some of the contracting officers that set up those contracts.
