I made them by hand. Then sanded them. They work great for bucking.
With the plastic wedges I always seem to cut the with chain ..lol

No way I was gonna bang wedges with that stick hangin above my noodle.

Something like that I’d be tempted to put a back cut in before the face is put in so you can beat on it good. Option B start playing dominos not sure if you have anything around there for a good pusher though.

Had 3 to take down, decided to do them all that afternoon with a good wind in my favor. The last tree has a little back lean and was fighting me wedging a bit. I waited for a gust and let me sink the wedges deeper and over it went. Had a buddy’s house behind me so was moving slow with these ones. Was confident they would do their thing but I just don’t like houses haha.

Last time I bought some the blue ones were $6.50 a piece, and the orange ones were $4.95 a piece. I always buy them by the dozen, so I believe they are a smidge more if you are buying less than that.

Last dozen Madsens branded I bought were $40 for a dozen I believe. Them sale flyers sometimes have some deals. I like the K&H best and Madsens second

I had zero intention of banging on that stick with the top broke out like that. The first pic I showed I was standing directly under a 7.5kv line so I no play dominoes that close. I threw a choker over dropped top and gave it some persuasion. Butt end of that 12’ is garbage.
