Seems like a good bit of bar on that 562. How'd she pull it?
Too much...
But yet it does just fine...

Go figure..

And it’s an old school edition from terry..

Surely that *b-word should have blowed up by now... but it’s still alive.. and seems to oil the 36” enough to get by..

Dadgumit

That was the last straight tree in Kansouri.

Now what’s the wind gonna blow?

That Poor, Poor Tree.

Death by 2000 cuts.

Unless that was a photobomb That poor tree was chewed to death for 26 minutes by that nostart 562.

Lol...

Took about 45 seconds...

Was leaning in an obvious direction...

No wedge pounding involved contrary to popular demand.

Helped a friend with this for an elderly lady after work today real quick.

I notched and back cut it with the 266xp, yanked it, and then started chunking it from the bottom end and he started from the too with the ported 6100 that I recent took the rakers down pretty far to test out. The 266 runs ok and has an ok sharp cheap chain on it. He was BLOWING through that thing like 3 cuts to my one. I was cracking up. He works for the city and was like dang, we have a saw like that but it doesn’t sound or cut like that. Haha!

When I was in Waterville/ Marysville/ Manhattan, Kansas I counted all the non-Tulip Poplar yard trees big enough to put on a mill on 1 hand.

When I first got there I asked if there had once been a great fire or something but after about 2 days I realized all the seeds had been pulled to Texas due to all that vacuum.

Crossing over the Oregon trail will change a fellow.

I hate getting stuff all crossed up, but not much I can do here once gravity takes over. Extra wildlife trees in the middle there. I’d sidehill them above the bluff for the rigging crew, but that was definitely not going to work here. I’ll have to buy them a 12-pack to settle them down, lol. I’m glad myself, or my saw, did not fall off the rocks.

Been cold last few mornings. 0584275D-12D5-4075-8C74-C1BE2A7D2BB8.jpegTried a loop of c85 chain yesterday. Wasn’t impressed. Credit where credit is due... I stihl like stihl RS (for box stock chain it’s hard to beat) and I ain’t no stihl nut. Husky chain seemed to come around nicely after I filed it though. 691D3C9E-4C6A-4F1A-9854-763D24D6D539.jpeg
