Okay, I'm gonna bump this back up. I put a video of it being run in the video thread but I'm gonna toss it in here too.

I got to run about a tank thru it today and as it got to the end of it, the saw really started to come alive. I didnt take video because I was too excited to run the 572 and my new to me 346.

I will try getting more video and updates as I begin to use it more, being with the tree company means I'll actually get to use my saws instead of them collecting dust :)

Be healthy and stay well

I thought you sent it to Tree Monkey??
It was sent to him initially, he had a heart attack, and I thought it best for him to concentrate on healing and feeling better rather than being pestered by me about my unimportant saw. So I had it sent to a friend of mine here in Massachusetts that ports and wanted to try his hand at it.

I thought it ran really good in the 1st stock video, but the chain was not the best. The V3 AT really tends to run them nice and hard. I think the 572 has got to be about the best value 70cc pro saw on the shelves.

I tend to agree with that. The first stock video had a stock chain.

alright, its high time I resurrect this thread. For the past 3 days straight I have been absolutely flogging the 572. In that 3 days it has woken up considerably since porting, its absolutely outstanding. With a 7 pin it will literally turn any chain in every material with authority...like I can put my knee behind it if I'd like. The torque is amazing for a 70cc package as well as the rapid acceleration provided by the auto tune and lightened piston.

It positively pisses oil, I can see why guys out west running longer bars prefer it to the 462. The AV truly is all day comfort in every way. Its a sensational saw. I am very very impressed and I'm difficult to please when it comes to saws and porting. Fuel consumption is thrifty!

Jay Rutkiewicz (@sawgarage ) way over achieved with this saw. He isn't often on the forums, but his work is impeccable. I chose to have him do the saw because he is within driving distance, ive seen lots of his work (he was very open with his photos) and he is extremely sharp, attention to detail is obsessive. With that comes wait time. It was worth it.

As soon as I can pry it out of my own giddy hands, ill thoroughly clean it and send it to Joe for a dyno session.

In the mean time I'll try to get some video of it running, I've been bad at that lately with working so much.
