Agreed. The solenoid is still connected. If a guy wanted to remove the solenoid (to clean up the carb area), he could instead replace it with a resistor to fool the module.

Can we agree the euro coil is limited? Or all of this is for naught.

there are three ways to limit the rpm of an engine that I know of. in what way is the euro coil limited? I think I know but don't have one to test.

Fuel
Spark

In all honesty if I was you I would have 4 of these lined up pulling 15000 rpm at the same time ! Then keep it to your self until the next rendition.

The euro coil acts just like a limited husky or dolmar coil. It will hit the 13.5k and then bounce back down to 9.6k or so
