I have a top cover from a Husky 242 Anniversary edition which is pretty trashed but does have a nice "300th Anniversary" sticker that I would like to remove and transfer to a better top cover. Have any of you had luck doing this? If so, can you share some tips?
Heat?
Razor blades?
What glue to stick it on the new cover?
Etc.....

Thanks.

I've used razor blades on stihl magnum stickers and then super glued them back on. Works fine

Heat gun on low and a razor blade. Just be careful not to get it too warm. The heat will help the adhesive release.

If you have a hair dryer that would be handy. No hair dryer in my house so never tried it.

I have a heat gun with a high and low setting. Do you heat from the back or directly on the sticker? Or does it matter?

I would be more interested in what adhesive to use to reapply it. Super glue may work but is more permanent than I would like.
