have to buy a 3/8 63 bar plus a 404 tip....so it gets rather pricey, off the top of my head i would say $145 shipped for the next 4-6 weeks, after that add another $15.

So minus $15 for a tip for just the bar? My 562 needs a 28" lightweight and I'm about tired of waiting on the tsumura since I wanted .063" in the right mount.

nothing, i need to call them and get an update, i havent talked to anyone about these bars in 3 weeks or so. I get time i will give them a call tomorrow and give an actual update with a timeframe

I like 404 but don't want to use it on the 562 all the time

I finally got the 7910H put together and tried it out with 404. that thing is a noodling SOB, neighbors came over wanting noodles for their smoker, filled a 3 gallon bucket in just a couple cuts

I would be jumping at that deal for a 3/8 bar and extra .404 tip for $11 more. Gives you options to run two pitches with one bar. Here a Tsumura .404 tip is $45 on its own.

I just wish that length was the same dl count between stihl and husky.

******UPDATE******

bars are in a container due in to port the last week of this month sometime....no definite date is given.....after that is on thru customs and to the distributor then on to me. expect to see all the bars available from by second week of september barring any unforseen issues with customs

28" 063 is not being imported at the moment in any form. as far as i know sugi doesnt have that bar either.

You can do that combo in an oregon reduced weight bar

Sugi light in 28" .063 is available in the UK, but only listed in 3/8" pitch were I looked (chainsawbars.UK) - I believe it just is a matter of what the importer/distributer/dealer orders.
