I didn't see a crankcase vent on this. How to vent the crankcase pressure?
I own the first gen of this pos. YES, POS. Never run right. Crankcase vent to the bar lub hole. Losing crankcase oil when that chit is running.

I would post more pics when I get home, still have it. Never cut wood with it though. Doesn't run right outta box.

But its an interesting point. Even if its junk at least everyone agrees on that...and that's not a bad thing! We are too divided as people and country etc. Nice to agree on something.

This is the crankcase vent. Directly to the bar pad as bar oil. I blew air in it to CONFIRMED.

But it still has a oil pump.

Oil fill here below the muffler.

Yep, not really what I'm trying to go for....

There's plenty of other guys running em, temping the exhaust, modifying them, running them over with a skid steer and dyno-ing them way better than I could.

My location doesn't really allow for a lot of it (city lot, close neighbors.)


I think in some circumstances we will do some of that but it will have to be for certain things that are worth going off-site for.

Most of what we're doing is done in the (limited) spare time at the shop.

Yes, Honda has got it figured out. My stepdad is on his second Honda in 20 years. The first one still runs fine, he just wanted a multi tool system. He uses the cheapest gas he can find with no stabilizer, and i bet the oil is only changed when I do it for him. If Honda made a four stroke chainsaw I bet it would be really good.
