I second that, so many untouched treasures sitting in peoples shops down there. Most of the old timers have nothing to do with Craigslist or phones (my dad being one of them) so finding them is a matter of asking through friends of friends. Last time I was down there I picked up some Hoffman caulks for $20 and a Simmington swingarm for $40.
I heard from a long-time faller in the area that an old woods boss for Weyerhaeuser has a barn full of big saws in North Bend. He would be in his 80's now. The guy telling the story is a solid character so I think there's some merit to it. He said he saw around 30 or so Homelite 3100Gs that were company saws.
