Snagged a Ms200T and a MS440, both have bad pistons with light scoring. Got cylinders cleaned up and will Hybrid the 440.

Stopped in the parts store/small engine repair shop today to buy some gasket paper and walked out with this beauty for the low low price of free.99. I had to repair/reattach the recoil and clean it up a bit. Runs great, I don't know anything about 011av saws but it is clean, runs good and has a decent 16" 3/8picco bar and chain that will go nicely on my 200t. I was itching for a saw deal since it had been a week and a half since my last fix. My CAD seems to be getting worse. Maybe I should sell some saws so I can get some of my keepers ported and graduate to the more expensive side of CAD..

I scored few tools today. Been looking at least once aweek for a collection or great deal to buy complete set.
Just getting back home, feels so good to find that great deal.
But just a question that I cant seem to get a honest response to. Why are snap on tools so dang expensive?

They used to be worth it.

The warranty was “no questions asked”, & they drove right up to your place of business to repair or replace your tools.

I paid for good tools along with great service.

I’ve been away from that atmosphere for 10 years, so I don’t know how things are today.

The ratchets are worth the asking price imo. Some of their other crap has been a bit of a let down.

Saw looks mint. Little dirty. He said it runs.

Got this and a 056 AV on partial trade “estimated value of $100” when a guy came to buy my motorhome. Said he didn’t know what was wrong with it. I repaired the broken kill switch wire, put a new 28in bar on it and set the flywheel and it popped off after 4 pulls. I guess I don’t know what was “wrong” with it either...
