Prices used to be cheaper. New version of that saw on Amazon is something like $260, so that is more than 1/2 price. Years back, I bought some of the earlier versions (UC4030A) from HD for under $100.

Might make sense to just buy them new now, especially if you work out a good deal through a dealer. Used to be able to buy the Dolmar versions for a bit less than the Makita ones, but that ship has probably sailed . . . .

I looked at one today that was a little newer for 150, probably could have got it cheaper, but it didn't have the reversible motor switch like yours.

I have 3, so this 1 will be up soon as I get time to give it a proper inspection and cleaning, will be cheap I am thinking, I also have a 460 cylinder that would make a great hybrid start with it.
