No sir, thanks Mike, cleaned up pretty good, with purple power.
I use degreaser from work. Caller rig wash. Just can't leave it on stihl covers long. Will strip the logos off. I did a 056 te coil with the made in west Germany tag. Took it out of the tub and it was about gone. Almost cried.. Lol.

sadly don't have pictures but I'm thankful to be in the land of the living this evening. went onto a site to pick up some big timber for the mill, 42" beech and 36" oak straight 8 foot runs, bang on 3.5 tonnes with the trailer. on the motorway home and the trailer rear left tyre blew out, trailer fishtailed then turned over draging me backwards down the motorway before my straps let loose and the logs came hurtling off.

how I kept that truck from ending up on it's roof I'll never know, I'm not a holy man but I'll be saying a prayer tonight! you can't put a price on being safe, but the highways agency tried their best, £750 to be recovered off the motorway and carried 2 miles home. trashed a 2 grand flatbed trailer that wasn't mine, and screwed my previously furniture grade oak (split up the centre). feeling a bit crappy tonight, but trying to remain thankful.

That sucks and is awesome all at once. Someone was definitely looking out for you and I know who my bets on. Glad you're doing ok. Could have been way worse.

I'm not sure how it goes over there but here your trailer is covered by your auto insurance when hooked to the vehicle. Couple years ago a coworker totaled his BIL camper. And his insurance covered it.

Because it was a borrowed trailer my insurance don't want to know, and the owner says his insurance won't cover it unless it's on his vehicle sadly

If a trailer that belonged to you would be covered, find out what clause in your policy invalidates a borrowed trailer. If there is none, contact your equivalent of a financial services ombudsmen.

So if you drop a tree on a house with a borrowed saw your public liability insurance wouldn't cover it?

Good luck anyway.

Thanks, I never even thought of it like that!

Always worth a try, insurance always seem to find a get out clause
