Being a picky, it's sp125. The sp120 was an alpina saw.

This saw is a 797, succeeded by the cp125 & then sp125 (all 123cc). Various kart engines to play with these and other models. Hit the mac thread, those boys know there stuff.

Some of the whitehead saws also came with westbend engines aswell.

Shame macbobaust.com is now gone, was a good website.

Ran the 797 today. Really hard for me to get used to starting using my right hand. Darn nice saw.

 Yes sorry it is 125. I had a brain fart.

I have myself set up with all the saws I need for regular wood cutting.
Sitting on Bobs front verander talking saws has me wanting to learn more about these legendary old saws.

My problem is i have no idea what they are worth?

Snagged this baby for 10 bucks. Came with 8 chains too. Guy got it pinched in a back cut and the tree rolled onto the saw after it fell out of the cut. Broken handle and clutch cover so far, but I'll have to tear into it later.

I love these saws. Old, slow but grunty. Nice pickup.

I grabbed six big boxes of NOS Husqvarna, Homelite, and McCulloch parts yesterday. Not much on the Husqvarna end though. I started going through boxes and writing down part numbers last night. I didn't make it through the third box before my wife enlightened me it was nearly 2 am and I needed to get my butt in the house and into bed...

Two 46cc poulans 295 style 130 both on compression one missing clutch cover. Poulan Pro 5020 pulled 150 psi complete, XL-12 runs on prime complete and a straight gassed Husqvarna 435 less air filter $50 is what I paid for the lot. Should be some nice runners with some elbow grease on why they were shelved.
