I have been meaning to try this, never seemed to get to it.

This is how I tighten my saws clutch cover/bar nuts.
The scrench lever is 14.5cm/5.7" long (Dolmar OEM) and I am a lefty meaning I tighten with my strong hand.

I tried loosening the nuts with the only torque wrench I own, but its lowest setting was higher than the nuts tightness.
As such all I could conclude the nuts are noticeably less tight than 42Nm.

Test fail?
No, not really - just not fully conclusive.
Someone can pick up from here and build on it.

Cheers! :Saeufer:

There must be dealer specs for each brand? Model?

Different for polymer and alloy case saws?

Are You out of Your mind?!
Who in their right mind reads the instructions? 🤣

Lefty loosey, righty tighty is all You need to know.
And, if tightening "gets loose" You over tightened! 😜

‘If it doesn’t move: force it! If it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway’ ?
